With sunshine and a bit warmer temperatures, snowplows are able to get out to plow the roads in the mountains so we are able to get out and about ... that makes me, hubby, and the Jeep very happy!
When one travels in the Rockies you don't think about the snow buildup. I can see it is exciting to be able to get out and about in the roads of altitude.
I'm glad you were able to get out and get these pictures of your beautiful mountains. I like the way in each picture the road leads to the unknown by going around a curve.
What beautiful pictures! Reminds me of our winter vacation to Coloardo and riding snowmobiles. I'm glad they have cleared your roads so you can get around now.
I guess I shouldn't complain about our snow. We very rarely get stuck in the house because of it. Glad you were able to sprout some wings and fly the coup to take some beautiful photos1
Doesn't that sun look and feel wonderful. It makes a person feel so much better. You two be careful venturing out with the warmer weather, and the threat of avalanches around. B.

I suffer seizures so life is very important to me to live it to the fullest!
I made this for all my friends. Please take this for your blog!!
I have epilepsy but I don't let that pull me down or control what I love to do in life. Along with medications I am trying to control the seizures.People with seizures often suffer more from the attitudes ofthose around them than from the seizures itself....formoreinformation, contact theEpilepsy website hereor talk toyourlocal health unit.

Beautiful shots Michele! I am glad you can make it out now, I would go stir crazy being stuck in the house.
Glad you have been liberated. That is a lot of snow. The road looks slippery to me, but then I haven't driven on snow for many decades.
Wishing you a safe rest of the winter. Be well, Michele. Shalom.

I hope the thaw continues so you can get out and about some more.
Even though the snow looks so cold the sun warms it up a bit. Beautiful photos!

The snow looks so deep on the roadside! Amazing sights with the play of light and shadows! Beautiful photos!
Such majestic views of your beautiful country. You have more snow than we do for sure!
Wow, it still looks very wintery there, and cold. You live in a beautiful part of B.C. I always love to see your photos!
