Skywatch- Thunder Storm Brewing

In the late evening, this awesome thunderhead developed right before our eyes as the sun sank and the night sky slowly started to engulf the sky.
Small shards of lightning danced within the cloud that gave it an eerie luminescence glow. It was a fantastic lightshow of nature.

Off in the distance, a few crows soar in the whirlwind caused by the storm.

As the sun set, the colors changed dramatically and quickly...

Wow Michele! Awesome cloud shots! I would love to see some thunderstorms out here, without the lightning. Everything is so dry I would fear fire starts.

These pictures of the thunderhead are both magnificent and dramatic. I enjoyed seeing the change in color as the sun sank lower.
