A bit back when I took the ferry, I spotted a couple of Osprey up on the light beacon.
Photos are not perfect as the ferry ride was not stable, it was indeed a very bumpy ride! I apologize for picture quality.

Camera Critters, please go on over to Misty's Blog and join in on the fun!

44 Mountain Climbers:
Michele, these pictures are so wonderful!
Nice capture of the Osprey!! Beautiful setting!!
Michele: How very cool, I got a hawk on a light pole yesterday and felt blessed. Your shot is so beautiful with the nest.
Great photos of the osprey, even from a bumpy ferry ride.
This is really great. And dinner is right at their feet.
Gorgeous, Michele... your wonderful photos always are. :)
Those two osprey are adorable. Your picture quality is perfectly clear. I don't think you've ever taken a bad picture. These are no exception. Have a great day.
Certainly a safe place to nest and enjoy central heating as well.
Great shots even with the movement.
looks like they feel quite at home up there, since they are nesting.
Michele;
Your pictures are great....they may not be up to your standards but they beat my ability ten fold!!! Thanks for the treat!
The birds surveys the wide, limitless expanse about them.
The Osprey are cool, they have taken over both cell phone towers in our town! One by where I used to work, I remember waiting for the babies every year, and they call and call and call, feed me feed me feed me! LOL
Still lovely.Hope you are well and having a great weekend.
Blessings,Ruth
Nothing wrong with those shots, Michele! Great closeups of the osprey.
I think the photo's are excellent Michele! I can just feel the tranquility in these shots and that's a great feeling to convey.
The nest sure looks small. Were they still working on it? It's high time I checked on our local Osprey down the street!
Sharon
What a great view of the birds - thanks for sharing them.
Excellent shots, Michele!
I know, it's longtime since I have visited your blog - sorry for that! Traveling is very time consuming for me, but beautiful!
Thanks for your visits to my blog, very much appreciated.

These are gorgeous Ospreys. Great view!
Oh wow aren't they great? I get shaky shots when I stand on dry land! lol These are great shots. Well done.
(Hope you're staying well. Sorry not been about as much.)
NIce shots, its always fun to get to see Osprey nests!
How MARVELOUS to spot and capture these magnificent birds! Thanks for sharing ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Great shots! One winter a few years ago we had an Ospreys winter at a local lake, and got to see them several times.

What wonderful sights of lake and mountains. The osprey photos are great. Visited Lake Superior this week and I do miss seeing large bodies of water. All we see is corn and beans. Take care.
I love those clouds rolling in...and wonderful captures of the osprey!
I think these photos are j ust fine. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Picture quality looks great to me, Michele... Love seeing the Osprey on top of the light beacon. Looks like they have the perfect home.
Have a great Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy
These look sharp to me. How could it be so bumpy when there are not much waves? Maybe it just doesn´t show in the pictures.
Great shots, the photos turned out great even with the bumpy ride.
I think this is a neat post with the osprey. The nest doesn't look too strong and reminds me of the poor nesting habits of our mourning doves. Lots of doves and or dove eggs just fall through the cracks or fall out of the nests they build.
Your visit will count and help me Make History. Pick a Peck of Pixels
Michele, you don't need to apologize! Your photos are always better than mine and I wished mine were half as good! Have a great week!
Truly stunning images! Thank you for sharing them!
Michele, these photos are wonderful. I've never seen a bad photo here!
Love all the shades of blue in the first two shots.
Wonderful! Definitely not bad quality! That must have been so much fun.
These are wonderful. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week! ~Cindy.
The shots from a distance are beautiful Michelle! The colors in these shot are fantastic!
Although ospreys are sighted frequently in my area and one of my favorite photo-subjects I have never found them nesting here.
They look beautiful! I love the zoom on the birds! They are huge!!! I seen one last time I went fishing, diving into the water and caught a fish! Beautiful!
All are such beautiful pictures.
Trying to get all my blog reading caught up so I'm not commenting as much as I would like to.
These pictures are just fine Michele. What amazing birds. We don't see them around my area very often. LOVE the scenery.

Michele, a ferry bumpy ride is funny, if one is not seasick!
All wonderful photos, the landscapes and the birds. I've really enjoyed them.
Have a very nice week ahead!
You "apologize for the picture quality"?
Are you nuts????
They were exceptional.
You silly girl!
Doesn't get any more waterfront than that!
I like the new design of your blog with it's beautiful photos as always!
Hope you are well.
Kathy
As you will have guessed, from my blog, I like colours like these.

Fabulous captures!
I was going to say something like the Retired Lady said, but not as well as she did. In a previous post you mentioned the heat. The weather sure is goofy this year. Here in Nebraska, we have had a cool July, with temps getting up to 90 only twice. My husband and I are sitting on our deck, and I have long sleeves on. I imagine we will be getting your heat when it leaves your area.
