A little bit of the 1890's boomtown, I suppose.... pioneer style in the Rockies of British Columbia, Canada.

17 Mountain Climbers:
Very nice pictures. I especially love the mountain one (nothing looks the same as Canadian Rockies) and the wheel.
Excellent views, although I wonder how the pioneers did without central heat in the winter. And chopping wood in a blizzard.
We softies would never survive. At least we'd enjoy the view...
Awesome - I love history and I love the feeling of the old west - these pics capture both beautifully.
Great shots Michele. I can almost smell the wood. That may sound strange but I love wood structures like that and sometimes they do have a lovely scent.
Really nice photos Michele. I'm loving your photography!
O how I wish I was looking at your vista! How beautiful!
Your photo? Perfection!
Lovely wood textures. The first pic is most beautiful.
I see you posted second on the skywatch website, i just posted at No 300+
I like the wheel pic, is that Fort Steele?
Followed your link from Sky Watch Friday, thank you for sharing all these lovely photos. You have quite the eye for capturing the beauty in your location.
Ahh, that's my kind of town.
Beautiful shots!
Very interesting sequence, Michele.
I enjoy the wheels, but the first image is also splendid!
gorgeous in every way -
Fabulous shots Michele!! Love those wheels!!
Great photographs.
I posted a reference to your site on my AK Sunday Post today.
B.C. is a favorite with us.
Liked your Temperature and fly post. It was 103 here today and dry.
Troy and Martha
Michele - there is such a variety of colors and textures on these photos. I love them!
I also love the feel of the old West in all its "roughing it" glory.
Like Ralph said, we are softies these days. Not like the pioneer folks, that's for sure.
Great pictures Michele!! So it's not always the rocks and waters, you handle so well every image behind your lens! I truly love the vintage touch of these... Hugs. =D
