Every Christmas we set up a little treats table a week before Christmas Day that lasts right up into the New Year. We had held this tradition for as long as we were married which would be almost 19 years now, come to think of it!
We buy treats such as nuts, and chocolates, chips, mints, candies, cookies, and whatever tempts the tummies and hubby loves to set it up. T
I'm not a sweets eater by no means and most of this is consumed by him and by people that drop in or taken to his job for his buddies. Believe me, we still have enough to fill this table 3 more times.
Now, I wasn't in the best of spirits to do it this year but he insisted the tradition could not be broken so ta-da.. here it is. A smaller version of our previous years but the tradition lives on.

Oh, looks so good.
Sounds like a nice tradition to me. Traditions are important.
Yummy!
I am sorry I am late with my comments. I have been very busy lately. I hope you are feeling better. This table looks so sweet and delicious.
Take care of yourself!
My tummy is grumbling...it all looks sooooo good. (the Sour Cream and Onion potato chips are my favorite.)
I make the same with my wife.
We use only chocolate...
But it's never enough...
I'm a big chocolate eater:maybe for the serotoninergic effect...
Bye

I love fun little traditions. They are important, as Dot said.
And the treats look yummy.
How can one resist taking a little something everytime one passes the table? It would be impossible to resist.
I think its a sweet tradition... It looks fattening, but FANTASTIC lol.

your snacks look nice and inviting, I can only imagine my cholesterol going through the roof, I am on 10 mg of Lipitor and Ezetrol each tablet
I have always wondered....why do we celebrate by eating? LOL Food is too good. You snacks, refresments or Christmas Goodies look delicous. Glad it is just a picture or I would be nibbling.
Oh, that looks so wonderful and a great tradition. I love having salty and sweet treats and switching back and forth.
