Along with this summer daytime heating brings in some pretty interesting thunder and lightning storms in the evening. Hail, winds and lots of rain. Not always a good thing as it will cause a lot of flooding as our creeks and rivers here in the mountains just cannot take it.

It was hot in our valley last weekend (36 C) but we managed another Jeep run through the high mountains and we came across some snow ... so it was nice and refreshing up there. Here's a few pics... I'll post the rest later.
Just a few patches of snow in the shades of the trees but it's nice and cool up here... the buds on the trees are just starting to open up, yes it is July... just got to love the Rocky Mountains!
